Non-stock sizes, large tonnage orders, or special processing (TMCP, UT, priming) may require 30–45 days. Break-bulk and container shipments are both available.
Q: What is Z-direction steel, and do I need it?
A: Z-direction steel (Z15, Z25, Z35) is specified when plates are subjected to high through-thickness tensile stresses at welded joints, such as cruciform connections, bracket toes, and heavy seam welds. The Z-grade indicates guaranteed reduction of area in the through-thickness direction, preventing lamellar tearing. We supply Z-grade AH36 upon request.
