A: DC03 is a low-carbon cold-rolled steel defined by European Standard EN 10130, with a carbon content of approximately 0.10%. It is specifically designed for deep drawing and complex forming. Compared to DC01, DC03 offers higher elongation (≥34%) and superior deep-drawing performance, making it suitable for manufacturing complex-shaped components.

Q: Is the DC03 suitable for outdoor use?
The DC03 has limited corrosion resistance on its own, so we do not recommend using it directly outdoors. If outdoor use is required, we recommend combining it with galvanized (GI/EG), color-coated (PPGI), or spray-coated finishes, which can extend its service life to 20–30 years.

A: DC03 offers excellent welding properties and can be welded using conventional methods such as spot welding, MIG welding, and TIG welding without the need for preheating. Its low carbon content reduces the risk of welding cracks.
