FAQ
Q: What is the actual weight per square meter of a 0.5-millimeter steel plate?
A: The theoretical weight is approximately 3.925 kilograms per square meter. A standard coil measuring 0.5 millimeters by 1,250 millimeters and weighing 8 metric tons contains approximately 2,040 square meters of flat steel.
Q: Which steel grade should I choose—SPCC, DC01, or Q195?
A: For general construction applications, including roofing, exterior walls, and ductwork, the performance of these three steel grades is comparable. If an export project requires formal mill certification, or if the steel is to be coated with high-performance paint, we recommend selecting SPCC (JIS standard) or DC01 (European standard). For galvanized corrugated sheets and basic structural applications with lower certification requirements, Q195 (Chinese GB standard) offers excellent value for money. If a project specifies EN or JIS standards, please select DC01 or SPCC, respectively.
Q: What is your company’s minimum order quantity?
A: The standard minimum order quantity (MOQ) for export orders is 1 metric ton per specification. However, we understand that new customers may wish to place a small trial order first. For trial orders, we can provide samples and adjust the price accordingly.
Q: How can I get your quotation as soon as possible?
