AZ150 is a high-performance galvanized steel coil, where “AZ” stands for aluminum-zinc coating, and “150” indicates a total coating weight of 150 g/m² (approximately 75 g/m² per side).
1.Coating Composition:
55% Aluminum — Provides excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature stability.
43.4% Zinc — Provides sacrificial cathodic protection, particularly at cuts and scratches.
1.6% Silicon — Improves coating adhesion and machinability.
2. Performance Advantages
Corrosion Resistance: 2–6 times more resistant than standard galvanized steel sheets, with a service life of 15–25 years.
High-Temperature Resistance: Can be used long-term in environments up to 315°C.
Thermal Reflectivity: Has twice the thermal reflectivity of galvanized steel sheets, reducing surface temperatures by 8–12°C.
Processability: Suitable for cold working processes such as stamping, shearing, and welding.
