FAQ
Q: Why do you offer these three specific widths—1,000 mm, 1,250 mm, and 1,500 mm?
A:These are globally recognized standard mill widths designed to optimize production efficiency, container loading efficiency, and subsequent processing operations. The 1,000 mm width maximizes compatibility with the Asian market and improves container loading density. The 1250 mm width offers excellent versatility and is suitable for a wide range of slitting operations. The 1500 mm width provides the highest production efficiency for high-volume stamping lines and minimizes scrap in the production of large-format sheets.
Q: Do you have 1.0mm-thick products in stock in all three width specifications?
A: Yes. We carry 1.0mm × 1000mm, 1.0mm × 1250mm, and 1.0mm × 1500mm products in our regular inventory, covering grades DC01 through DC04. DC05 and special grades typically require custom production at the factory, with a lead time of 4 to 6 weeks.
Q: Can I order these coils in non-standard widths?
Absolutely. All three standard widths can be precision-cut to meet your specific requirements. Starting from 1,000 mm, the minimum cut width is 25 mm. Starting from 1,250 mm, common slitting specifications include 2×600 mm, 3×400 mm, or 5×250 mm. Starting at 1500 mm, we can provide 2×750 mm, 3×500 mm, 4×375 mm, and custom combinations.
Q: What is the typical thickness tolerance for 1.0 mm cold-rolled steel sheets?
The standard tolerance is ±0.03 mm (EN 10130 Grade A) or ±0.05 mm (Grade B). Across the entire width range of 1000–1500 mm, thickness variation (warpage) is controlled to within 0.02 mm. Thickness variation along the length of the coil does not exceed 0.03 mm.
